New doors finally!

When you live in a 1950s era house, chances are at some point you'll have to replace the windows, the doors, or if you're really unlucky, both!  Thank goodness the windows were replaced in the flip, but the door to the sunroom and the walk-out basement were both original to the house.  As you can see, the sunroom door *looks* fine, but in the winter, the wind just howls through it, and the window is single-paned, non-tempered glass--a safety and security hazard.
Here's the walk-out basement door.  Unlike the sunroom door, it truly is nasty!  It also has a very, very old screen door, and you can actually *see* the outside through the cracks on the sides of the door.  The screen door is heavy and impossible to open.

We hired Columbus Window and Doors to replace both doors.  Given the current tax credit, it made sense to tackle this job sooner rather than later.  Here's the finished product!
They added extra protection from any water in front of the basement door.
They also raised the basement door slightly to help prevent water coming in from the outside.
And here's the sunroom door, complete with the puppy potty bell (sorry it's dark, flash malfunction!)

Any tax-credit-eligible tasks on your fall agenda?  Do tell!
