The last update on the office left much to be desired, but things are finally starting to come together!
If you work from home like I do, you'll understand my glee at having all of my (self-purchased) office appliances close at hand, it's almost like working in a 'real' office! (And yes, I did label my stapler "Stapler" during some late night study session in college!)
Next comes the fun stuff--making the shelves look snazzy, containing the cord clutter.... I'm choosing red as the accent colour for the room, hence the flowers from the garden in my gorgeous vase from Simon Pearce.
Back to work!
My 'after' photos of my office de-clutter were almost ready to be posted, but the mess has magically re-appeared and it'll require some more effort to make it photo ready.
ReplyDeleteIn the meantime, the IKEA catalog came and I've been having fun dreaming up a new kitchen for my house. Now to get DH to fund it...
oooh, IKEA catalog....haven't seen it yet! a kitchen reno would be fun to design, less fun to live through (or pay for!)
ReplyDeleteI was thinking of your office redo the other day--my office has gone through 3 'almost finished' stages, and it feels sooooo good to have the work part of the office up and running!
The bed, however, is an old futon with the arms cut off (that no longer works as a couch), and the bedding does not match the wall colour, not even a little bit :( always something to do!
